Meet Our Leadership Team

Haruthay “Pam” Rasmidatta, Chief Executive Officer

Haruthay “Pam” Rasmidatta founded Aquinas Consulting in July of 2000 with the goal of building an IT services organization that offers outstanding quality and service. Over the past 22 years, Aquinas has accomplished this goal signing agreements with more than 300 companies, and growing annual revenue to more than $30M. Prior to co-founding Aquinas, Pam earned an MBA in marketing from the University of New Haven. She also was a leader in the marketing department at Executone Information Systems, where she bolstered a highly successful services program group that was later acquired by Staples, Inc. Earlier in her career, Pam took advantage of her B.S. Degree in Personnel Administration, along with her fluency in both English and Thai, which in turn helped her secure a human resources position with a major international bank; where she was actively involved in recruiting new employees.

Thomas Mercaldo, President

Thomas Mercaldo has successfully grown Aquinas Consulting from start-up to $30M in revenue, boasting 22 consecutive years of revenue growth. Prior to joining Aquinas in 2001 as a co-founder, Thomas was in senior management at Keane, Inc., where he grew branch revenue from $4M to $52M over five years, creating more than 500 Connecticut-based jobs. He also served as Vice President for Condor Technologies, and as a Regional Manager for General Electric’s Consulting business. Mercaldo is a “serial entrepreneur” who has been involved in 7 business start-ups, which have included businesses in: Consulting, Software, Publishing, eCommerce, Alternative Energy, Manufacturing and Real Estate sectors. Thomas’ other accomplishments have included founding Aquinas Eagle Publishing, Diversity Recruiting Partners, and the Wheeler Real Estate Group of companies. Additionally, he has been a board member or Angel investor to other start-ups including: Sageworks Inc., a software company, Exulans, an alternative energy company, Snow-B-Gone, a manufacturer, and Touchstream, an elder care software company. Tom holds a BS in Business from Fairfield University and an MBA from the University of New Haven.

Jeff Lesko, Senior Director of Business Development

Jeff Lesko is a seasoned staffing professional who brings 19 years of industry experience to Aquinas. His responsibilities include managing recruitment strategy, fostering relationships with the candidate population and keeping up with industry recruiting trends. Jeff mentors and manages the day-to-day activities of a 15-member recruitment team focused on supporting our clients’ critical IT initiatives. We do this by providing carefully screened, qualified contract, permanent or contract-to-hire resources. Prior to joining Aquinas in 2017, Jeff spent 11+ years with TEKsystems, where he was consistently recognized as a top performer in the organization for meeting and exceeding a million dollars in yearly sales. During that time, he established numerous business relationships that continue to this day. Jeff graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Business Marketing and a Minor in Philosophy.

Dave Murphy, Director of Sales, Strategy, and Workforce Solutions

David has been with Aquinas since 2018, and he has been a leader in the Human Capital industry for more than 25 years. He has responsibility for leading the Aquinas Workforce Solutions Practice. In his role, David works closely with the Aquinas sales team to drive strategic business within our top clients by creating, designing and promoting consultative services. He leads the execution, strategy and delivery of our strategic high-profile accounts, Prior to joining Aquinas, David spent several years with Aerotek and TEKsystems as the Director of both the Engineering and IT Staffing divisions. Previously, David was the North American Director of RPO Services for Allegis Global Solutions, and as a Talent Acquisition Manager at ESPN; he managed an internal RPO Delivery Team. David graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in Communications.

Sally Reed, Director of Human Resources and Finance

Sally Reed has been with Aquinas since 2003. Prior to working at Aquinas, she held positions of increasing responsibility in IT, payroll, accounting and finance for Country Home Bakers. As Director of Human Resources and Finance, Sally oversees all company finances, including invoicing, payroll, employee benefits and 401(k) administration. She ensures Aquinas’ compliance with all state and federal employment laws. Sally holds a B.S. in business administration from Southern Connecticut State University.

Abigail DeBiase, Director of Recruiting

Abigail DeBiase manages the day-to-day activities of the Engineering Recruiting team at Aquinas. A dynamic, disciplined, and highly motivated professional, Abby takes great pride in her servant leadership style and strives for personal and team success. She is firmly rooted in integrity and believes that foundation pushes her, and inspires others. Throughout her career, Abby has developed training and employee engagement programs while leading high performance teams. Leveraging skills in sales, human resources, operations, full cycle recruiting and management, Abby brings new perspective and an emphasis on training and development to the team.

Prior to joining Aquinas in March 2021, Abby led the East Region Recruiting Team for Belcan Workforce Solutions while managing large Aerospace industry accounts nationally. Abby earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Connecticut State University.

SHERRY FELISKO, FINANCE MANAGER

Sherry Felisko has been with Aquinas since 2013. Prior to working at Aquinas, she has held various finance/accounting positions at General Signal, Terex Corporation and Carter’s Inc. As Finance Manager, Sherry is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the finance department in addition to the preparation of the companies’ financial statements. Sherry holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Sacred Heart University.
