Giving Back this Holiday Season

            As the third quarter came to an end, Aquinas Consulting is proud to announce that we made a donation to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!  We wanted to do our part in giving back to children in need so we collected soda cans, donated money on Fridays, and had a 50/50 raffle to raise money for St. Jude.

 

 

Our fourth quarter is under way, and we aren’t stopping here! This quarter we have decided to not only donate money raised from cans, but we will be working closely and donating perishable food items to the 12^th annual Thanks 4 Giving Food Drive.

Over the past 11 years this initiative, which is run by the area Scouts, has provided food to more than 1000 Milford families and provided support to more than a dozen different food distribution charities. Principal beneficiaries of the drive include the Milford Food Bank, John Wrigley Food Pantry and Cornerstone Food Pantry. More than 100,000 pounds of food, 3,008 turkeys; and $15,000 dollars have been raised to help feed those in need.

Aquinas Consulting is proud to be a part of this effort again this year and will be contributing financially to the drive by purchasing patches for each Scout and contributing gift cards to families in need. Additionally, a food drop off station has been established at our headquarters in Milford. (601 Boston Post Rd. Milford, CT 06460)

We will be accepting non-perishable food items and cash donations. Milford Scouts will be camping out overnight at Wasson Field from November 11th to the 13th where they will be receiving and sorting food donations, preparing food baskets and delivering them to families in need this holiday season.
